Wii Bowser's Castle is a ground up remake of Bowser's Castle from Mario Kart Wii in the style of other Mario Kart 8 remakes. The model was originally created by SquireTurnbolt and ported into Mario Kart 8 (Deluxe) by Squadaloo.

There are some items that weren't able to be recreated perfectly in Mario Kart 8's engine (at least, not without custom objects that would interfere with other tracks like Twisted Mansion's wavy hall) as well as gameplay elements that don't exist in 8 (the half-pipes) and so work arounds or new gameplay elements were added instead.
