Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G41, 1st Campaign pt33: Navigating deep into the Phazon Mines, only to...
Already, trying to get back in the flow here, as I hit the Phazon Mines sector, this time from the west. I went to find out more of how the Space Pirates plan to use Phazon to further their goals. A great deal going to enhance their own soldiers to create Elite and Omega super soldies. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro and Magmoor Caverns.
"Unique High Phazon Levels found on a Mobile Source." scan message received. I imminently assumed is a Super Pirate enhanced to such a level, it can be detected for miles.
(7:09) Bendezium cleared at Workstation Tunnel.
(9:59) Phazon Mines, West entry and Transport Access.
(11:44) Phazon Processing Center.
Pirates where guarding this room. They already established processing equipment for this dangerous substance.
(19:50) Processing Center Access.
Hit an unexpected dead end, forcing me to backtrack.
(28:10) Maintenance Access and setting course to target area.
(38:16) Elite Pirate fight.
(46:37) Metroid Quarantine A.
On my way to the target area, another one of the hibernated Elite Awoke. Only 2 remain now.
(51:30) X-Ray Visor reveals the way.
I was lucky here. I noticed that what I initially thought was activity behind a wall, where sparks created when an invisible moving platform comes in contact with it.
(1:00:23) Elevator B: Access to Phazon Mines Level 3.
I proceeded to the deepest level.
(1:04:45) Metroid Hunters at Fungal Hall Access.
These larger Metroids didn't posed much of a problem as long as I use the appropriate weapon. However, I haven't been in a situation where they attack in packs.
(1:10:51) Artifact at Phazon Mining Tunnel.
Well, it turned out that the Phazon at this particular room containing an Artifact is far deadlier. I learned the hard way.
