■Ingredients (2 servings)
・200g minced pork
・5cm (100g) lotus root
・1/2 bunch chives
・Appropriate amount of cake flour
・1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
☆Seasonings
・1 tablespoon sake
・1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
・1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
・1 teaspoon grated ginger
・1/2 teaspoon grated garlic
■Procedure
(1) Slice the lotus root thinly with a slicer, rinse in water and drain. Cut off a small portion of the root of the Chinese chives and chop them finely.
(2) Put the ground pork, Chinese chives, and ☆ into a bowl and mix until sticky (this is the meat filling).
(3) Wipe the lotus root thoroughly with kitchen paper and lightly coat one side with plain flour. Place the meat filling evenly on top and fold in half. (Press lightly to make sure the meat adheres to the lotus root and shape it.)
(4) Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, add 3 and cook over medium heat until browned.
(5) Turn over and cook for about 3 minutes until the meat is cooked through. (Dip into vinegar soy sauce or similar before serving.)
