X-MAS Tyrian
5Tyrian has the neat little ability to check your computer's internal clock. If played in December, January, and perhaps February, it will ask you if you wish to activate X-MAS Mode. You can also activate it with a command-line parameter, I think it was "YESXMAS".
What X-MAS Mode does is mess up a lot of graphics, changing them to Christmas-related things. Snowflakes, ice, presents, snow globes, candy canes, etc etc etc. The game itself is unchanged, but the graphics go wild.

Lol, forgive me. Large Sonic Waves get replaced by the word "NOEL", French for "Christmas". But my name is Leon, so I have a gun that shoots my friggin' name.
Oh, and I'm not sure HOW the game does this. I wonder if these graphics can be found in TyrHack somehow, but I doubt it.
