Rather than break the ice with weapons on the other racing modes, we choose Arena. Straight up Deathmatch is the only mode available here. Vid timeline:

(0:00) Intro.

(4:39) Match begins.

We play as:

Player 1: Terra Dominator (1) AirBlade.
Player 2: Terra Rhino (SRU) Classic.

Unlike with racing, here I felt alright in 1st person view with splitscreen set on vertical.

Not all pickups are feature here. But I noticed, unlike with races, Blue (Vehicle Repair) and Red (Damage Boost) pickups are featured.

Raptor (Gatling Gun): Fires a hail of bullets. But when charged, they not only do they hurt more, the impacts cause the victim to lose steering control.

Hydra (Cluster Missile): Multiple light damage warheads. When charged, they have an EMP like effect, temporarily disabling the victim's engine and hindering vision. In addition, the cluster can split into two groups, if multiple targets are present.

Spearhead (Dart/Mine Launcher): Fires 3 explosive darts that stick into an opponent before detonation. Appears to be the weakest weapon. Charging it appears to only make them stronger. Currently trying to find out if nature of weapon enables it to ignores shields.

Scorpion (Missile): Single heavy damage warhead. Charging it creates a dual missile attack which can both lock on unto the same or different targets. Most powerful weapon.

Painkiller (Shield): Temporarily rear protection. Both front and rear, if charged.

The Assassin Missile, Ram Raider, Disruptor, and the Firestorm Speed Boost powerups are not featured here in Arena.
