In this Instant Action Supremacy match, I go to the other end of the spectrum, choosing to pilot an AAT to lay down the hammer on the enemy! Vid timeline:

I play as:

First Player: Separatist AAT (Armored Assault Tank).
Blaster: 2 Medium Laser Cannons.
Abilities: Linked Fire, Siege Mode, High Explosive Shells.
Boost Cards: Reinforced Hull, Repair Systems, Improved Weapon Systems.
Passive Abilities: N/A.

The complete opposite of the STAP Speeder, the AAT, short for Armored Assault Tank is the mainstay heavy combat vehicle of the Droid Army.

It's primary weapon is a single Heavy Laser Cannon with a surprising rate of fire. It is so powerful that when activated, needs to ground to a halt due to the Force of the recoil.

Unfortunately during this combat, the enemy Tank never came into view, preventing me from experiencing the full might of this weapon. Especially so since I equipped it with Improved Weapon Systems.

Otherwise, the two smaller Lasers Cannons, which can be Twin Linked are as expected, much more suitable for Anti-Infantry tasks. Has good rate of fire. And can be fired for a decent amount of time before they overheat.

The last weapon is the High Explosive Shells, which are fired from six launch tubes that go along the Tank's main hull. It is a sweep type off weapon where aiming is not required. Rather difficult to use, I didn't found myself getting many kills which it. It's really there to add a little extra something to the Tank's two other weapons.

The AAT can withstand a huge amount of punishment, thanks in part for the equipped Reinforced Hull and Repair Systems. Was surprised the vehicle was able to repair itself to full health even when it was on the brink of being destroyed.

Of course, one has to be patient when driving this huge monster as it is quite slow and cumbersome, apparently more so than the Clone counterpart. I suspect then that it does have the stronger primary weapon in return.
