It's kinda funny to think that two major characters' designs were guided entirely by this scene. Without those eyepatches, you never have to be put into this situation.

This is Sigurd's most heroic scene, and probably his best. First he saves Bart just as he's about to be killed by Shakhan, and then he comes to Margue's rescue to open the jasper door. "Just do it!" is such a simple but effective line, and the implication is immediately clear. Sigurd has been royalty, or pseudo-royalty, the whole time and just never said a word about it. Sigurd, man. He's a better dude than this game deserves.
