There are like 3 or 4 different retellings of the Sophia story, at first in chairs and then from each character's perspective. But my preference is this abridged version that Zephyr tells Citan while recounting the overarching events of the era from 500 years ago. She explains Miang's role and why the event happened instead of just showing the tragedy over and over. She also explains how Sophia basically put Krelian and Grahf onto villain paths with her sacrifice alone.

It's great world building for that era, an era that feels woefully underexplained due to the brevity of disc 2. Other sources like Perfect Works fill this in well, but nothing compares to seeing it ingame. Ship of Regret and Sleep is the perfect companion piece to tell this tragedy, too.
