And here it is, finally: the alpha and the omega itself. The Wave Existence spits a bunch of stuff that's honestly hard to parse unless you're well versed in the lore of Xenogears, and first time players might have just nodded their heads and hung with the atomsphere of the scene moreso than the meaning. But the scene works spiritually just as much as it does narratively and you can enjoy it both ways. All that matters is that Fei has proved that he is ready to speak with god.

The best part of the scene is where ol' Wavey says that Fei has had to deal with a tremendous amount of tragedy in his life and Fei's like "no, I can't blame anyone but myself." Fei's arc is complete and he receives the Xenogears. The whole world is put on notice at this point: we've got a proper Contact now.
