About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to get XRay in Minecraft 1.20. We do this by using the XRay Texture Pack for 1.20 known as XRay Ultimate. With this XRay texture pack, you can easily mine diamond, netherite, emeralds, and any other ore you want. It can even help you locate mineshafts, chests, and more. It truly makes play Minecraft 1.20 much, much easier, so here is how to download and install the XRay texture pack in Minecraft 1.20!

First things first, we need to download the 1.20 XRay Texture Pack. You can find a link in the description above that will actually take you to our in-depth text tutorial for getting 1.20 XRay. There, click the “Download XRay Ultimate” button to be taken to the official XRay Ultimate download page.

On this page, click on the “Files” tab at the top, and locate the newest version. This version is Minecraft 1.20 compatible. Click the three dots next to it, and select “Download File”. The 1.20 XRay texture pack will start downloading.

From there, we can open Minecraft 1.20 and start installing XRay. To do this, select Options from the Minecraft main menu. Then, click on “Resource Packs”.

In the resource pack section, click on the “Open Pack Folder” button on the bottom left of Minecraft. This will open your resource pack folder. Drag-and-drop the XRay Ultimate 1.20 resource pack you downloaded into this folder.

Now, go back to Minecraft 1.20. You will see XRay Ultimate on the “Available” section on the left-hand side. Hover over it and click the arrow that appears to move it to the “Selected” section.

Click “Done”, and XRay 1.20 will be activated. You can now go into Minecraft single player and XRay. However, in order to see things better underground, you will need to drink a night vision potion or use Optifine. Doing this will make all of the ores underground visible even at a distance.
