Yooka-Laylee UPDATE! New Character + Soundtrack & More!
Playtonic Games is introducing a new character to Yooka-Laylee. The character goes by the name Kartos, inspired by God of War's Kratos.
This 3D platfomer, also known as Banjo-Kazooie's successor, is Playtonic's first game to get released in 2016. Banjo-Kazooie was a beloved series developed by Rareware Games for the Nintendo 64.
Ever since Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts came out, fans have been wondering why the series took such a different turn. Although the game received good reviews, old fans of Banjo-Kazooie just didn't feel it.
Ex-Rare workers have formed their own group called Playtonic Games. Thanks to the kickstarter back in June 2015, the game has received over 3 million US dollars in funds.
Kartos is a brand new character that recently got introduced to the series. According to Playtonic Games, Kartos will be a supporting character, just like Trowser the snake and Skeleton Girl.
Apart from new characters, David wise, who composed for games such as Donkey Kong n64, is currently working on a brand new soundtrack called Kartos Challenge. Grant Khirkope is also composing music for Yooka-Laylee.
Yooka-Laylee has a October 2016 release window, could we expect a brand new trailer at e3 2016?
