Sly Cooper now has a fan-Made small Unreal Engine 4 render. The series always ran on Sucker Punch's Spackle engine and Sanzaru Games' engine.
The Sly Cooper series, originally developed by Sucker Punch and now by Sanzaru Games, has always had cartoony graphics. More precisely, the games used cel-shaded polygons.
A user by the name of Radical_Vewi, decided to revamp Dimitri's office from Sly Cooper 2 Band of Thieves. Using the power of the Unreal engine, Dimitri's office looks absolutely amazing. Seeing the Sly Cooper series on the Unreal Engine 4 is fascinating.
This series has a movie coming out, do you think a re-imagining of the Sly Cooper series would follow this style of graphics? The Sly Cooper film is currently planned to be CGI, so maybe the future of the series might perhaps follow this style of visuals.
What about Sly Cooper 5? Should the fifth instalment, if it happens, follow this style of graphics? I believe Sly 5 would be better off with cel-shaded. However, in the future, if Sony decides to re-imagine the game just like Ratchet & Clank, then perhaps the series could convert to CGI and Unreal Engine 4.
