[Ys: Memories of Celceta] Foria-Daros made EASY with one simple trick!

Foria-Daros is the toughest enemy you can encounter in Celceta, sporting an HP stat rivaling endgame bosses (34800) and the highest STR among all enemies by far (1148). You should get a suitable reward for defeating such an imposing foe, right? Nope, just an achievement/trophy! And a lot of exp.
Certainly not worth the trouble unless you're looking for a challenge, but, what if I told you there is a way to outright ignore most of Foria-Daros' attacks? And it's incredibly easy to perform! But before explaining how to do it, let's go over its moveset:
- At close range, Foria-Daros will spin to hit you with its tail.
- Foria-Daros hops around, up to 3 times, and creates small shockwaves when landing.
- Same as above but a flower will appear in Foria's position, which will be struck by lightning after a short time. Its animation for jumping is slightly different compared to the previous move, as Foria takes a bit longer to perform the first jump.
- Foria-Daros will charge up energy and release a BLUE lightning that spreads in front of it.
- Foria-Daros will charge up energy and release a PURPLE lightning in a straight line, creating several shockwaves in its path.
- Foria-Daros jumps very high and, upon landing, it will create a big shockwave and shoot several rock projectiles that track your position.
The last 4 attacks Foria can perform are affected by this trick and the way to ignore them is as simple as 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆. Swap a character from the reserve to the active party (active → active or reserve → reserve don't work) and that's it, the attack and its hitbox will vanish entirely!
However, timing is important as changing the characters too early will result in part of the attack still coming: for the colored lightning attacks and rock projectiles it's best to open the menu as soon as the effects appear on-screen, and as for the flowers you can erase the last two after the first one is struck by lightning (or just pause for every flower if necessary).
Why does this work? My understanding is that the game briefly reloads the area once a new model is introduced when switching characters, returning both playable characters and enemies to a neutral state. Likewise, modifying the party during a skill with a long animation, like Frieda's Destruction Dance, also returns the character to idle and completely cancels the skill.
It's difficult to see this behaviour as the Party menu is disabled during boss fights although, since Foria-Daros isn't considered an actual boss, you can use this quirk to your advantage!
Lastly, note that I'm playing on PC. I assume this works on the Vita/PS4 versions but I don't own them to test it.
