Last fight of the Character Episodes! Gentledroid is unique among the CE bosses because it is the only that doesn't have any weaknesses, making Power Charge 2 mandatory to start a weakness combo. The robot also has a weak point on its head so you can ignore its Iron Stance.

I've recorded two different version of this battle because, frankly, I enjoy playing as Gaius and want to squeeze as much content as possible. You can expect the same treatment for the two remaining bosses!
Furthermore, this fight is a good showcase of why the Knight's Crest is Gaius' best accessory. These combos can't kill on their own but Gaius' damage output is just explosive as long as you get lucky with critical hits.

🠚 Version 1: 0:00
This is a more traditional approach, where the combo is splitted in two and thus I need to Charge twice. I have plenty of time to Charge after the usual Hydra → Light or Ruin, so that's not a problem. Afterwards, I build the multiplier again and, thanks to the Extended Window skill, I can use Sonic Thrust to prepare the Twin Lance I'll use as a finisher and add an extra 160% (!) with Dragon's Maw before cancelling it with R2 as the trigger for the Link Arte is still active.

🠚 Version 2: 0:44
The goal of this version is to defeat Gentledroid in a single combo. As a result, the combo route has been modified to include a Savage Beckoning at the beginning to maximize my damage (3244 → 4478 P Atk). Gentledroid recovers somewhat fast from knockdown, which means Savage Beckoning must be inputted the moment Gaius lands or else the combo will break.

Elements are added on a different order, leaving Light for last, to make the most of Exalted Divide's lengthy timer to stun with Eradication Sweep and still have time to use Divine Ascension, OTG with an Up Normal and finally extend into Critical Blade to deal the finishing blow.
However, due to Divine Ascension's fairly long endlag and Gentledroid's fast recovery, I have to rely on getting another stun thanks to one of DA's additional effects. I don't know the exact % but it's decent enough to gamble on it, as it's the spirit of this run!
