Previously, Link began exploring Hyrule Castle in earnest. He also began working on the DLC side quest "EX Royal Guard Rumors". Link made his way through the Guards' Chamber and the Dining Hall. He found the Royal Guard Boots and the Royal Guard Uniform. Now, he will continue exploring Hyrule Castle and seeking the last piece of the Royal Guard set.

Link resumes at the Dining Hall in Hyrule Castle.

He takes the door outside (time 1:03). Going up the path to the right, he takes out a Glowing Eyeball and some Malice at an intersection. When he continues past the Malice barricade, he circles back to the first checkpoint where a Lynel lurks.

Now, Link goes up the stairway along the outside of the checkpoint. He takes out the remaining Guardian Turret. On top of the checkpoint building, he finds a chest with 5 Bomb Arrows (time 3:14).

Link continues up the stairways past the checkpoint. After another Guardian Turret, he reaches Princess Zelda's Room and Study on the western side of the keep.

In Princess Zelda's Room, Link finds a Silver Moblin (time 5:05). After photographing it for the Hyrule Compendium, he takes it out.

A chest in Zelda's room contains a Silver Rupee, worth 100 rupees (time 5:47).

Link also reads Zelda's Diary (time 6:02). This makes a lot more sense if you have seen all the memories.

Link can climb up the wall to the next level and cross the bridge to the study. On the bridge itself, he can find the spot for Recovered Memory #12: "Father and Daughter" if he has not seen it before.

Link reaches Princess Zelda's Study (time 10:40). He again reads Zelda's Research Notes (time 10:46).

Link leaves the area of Zelda's room and study. After a little investigation, he backtracks to the intersection past the first checkpoint where he cleared out the Malice. The main path curves to the left and heads towards a second checkpoint building. However, two Guardian Turrets are posted on the building, so Link will not take the direct route.

Link finds a waterfall just outside the Dining Hall (time 16:10). He swims up this waterfall. Bearing right at the top, he lands on the narrow strip of ground on the near side of the curtain wall. He finds a ground-based Guardian Turret that he can take out easily.

From this Guardian Turret's post, Link goes back inside. He is past the second checkpoint. Ahead and to the left, there is a tower with another Guardian Turret posted. He sneaks in the tower's window.

On the ground floor of the tower, a chest contains 5 Bomb Arrows (time 18:09).

Link takes out the Guardian Turret on this tower. He should beware of additional Guardian Turrets farther ahead.

Before continuing on, Link goes to the second checkpoint. Again, he avoids the Lynel guarding the checkpoint's interior. He takes out a troublesome Guardian Turret outside.

Then, on the roof, he finds a chest containing 5 Bomb Arrows (time 20:50). Beware; this chest is in plain sight of another Guardian Turret across the way.

Link returns to the Guardian Turret post at the curtain wall. After waiting for a Guardian Skywatcher to go by, he follows the narrow outside path. He finds and takes out another Guardian Turret.

Then, he climbs the curtain wall. After waiting for the Guardian Skywatcher to go past again, Link goes across another gap. He deals with another Guardian Turret.

Then, Link climbs the rock behind the Guardian Turret post. Another Guardian Turret is posted here, and another is posted some distance ahead. Link takes them out, as well. Then, he shoots a Glowing Eyeball and takes out some Malice barring the main pathway.

Link glides down to the main path and follows it. He shoots a Guardian Skywatcher when it comes menacing.

LInk finds the main entrance to the Sanctum (time 27:18). The Sanctum is where the final battles will start. Link uses the Travel Medallion to make a convenient travel gate nearby.

Link turns left at the columns. He takes out yet another Guardian Turret.

Then, Link climbs the buttress rising out of the water (time 28:39). Following the buttress up, he reaches a walkway around the upper level of the Sanctum.

Link works his way into the upper level of the Sanctum (time 30:11). What could those tentacles in the Malice be? Link works his way around the outside wall of the room.
