Today's itch.io Tuesdays that was leftover in the queue is Z.E.N. by Wicked Owl Games. It's a 3D platformer that attempts self-referential "gamer" humor, which is evident in that it's named after the worst fucking part of Half-Life and is similarly set in a blank void with platforms and low gravity.
No, but seriously, it's another student project with all stock assets made to learn some stuff for a class project. It's clearly made from some Gears of War-style TPS tutorial since the controls and camera are not at all fit for this genre. You'll find that a lot of these leftover videos are quite...below par. What strikes me as odd about Z.E.N. is that the sound mixing is just horrible. The awful elevator music loop is much quieter than anything else, while the old man's voice peaks the video and makes everything else quiet by comparison.
