Zoids Saga Gameplay Chapter 4 - Chaotic Century Arc Rosso and Viola Boss Fight
Zoids Saga is a series of Game Boy Advance (and later Nintendo DS) games based on the Zoids franchise, primarily released in Japan. The series encompasses four games and one international adaptation; Zoids Saga, Zoids Saga II (released as Zoids: Legacy in several English-speaking nations), Zoids Saga III: Fuzors, and Zoids Saga DS
The games are closely linked to the Zoids anime series. Because of the difference in time between these anime in the Zoids fictional universe, the games rely heavily on time travel.
The games of the Zoids Saga series are party-based role-playing games, and involve the player character leading a team of Zoid pilots. The party moves around the overworld and through the dungeons, fighting off wild Zoids and enemy pilots as the player attempts to complete the game. The player is responsible for constructing the various Zoids available from captured technical data, assigning the pilots in his party to the Zoids, and organising them in a battle formation.
Combat is turn-based, and occurs on two opposing two by three grids, one for the player, the other for the enemy. Six of the player's Zoids (previously organized into the two by three battle formation) are deployed, and the player must use a combination of the Zoids' weapons, pilot skills, and special orders (deck commands) to defeat the enemy.
After asking the townspeople there, the bodyguards wondered about the Redler while Irvine seems to think if the Redler sounds familiar and suggest following where Van had gone. The bodyguards suggest going to a cave north of the town. Inside the cave, there are several new Zoids data that could be taken in order to build the Zoids based on the data gathered from the Data Gather Command. To be honest, the cave can be confusing like a maze especially because there's no control to open a map (You will be exploring any area you are in blindly so make sure to explored it first before entering the devastated town) but if you remember the path correctly....finding the way should be easy. When you reach the second grey area in the cave maze, the party found Van facing two Zoids : A Redler and Red Horn. Seems like these Zoid pilots are the ringleaders of the Desert Alcavaledo Gang : Rosso and Viola. Van wants to know what these two have done with Fiona and the two don't want to tell him. Irvine finally found Van and Van asked the party to help him fight them.
Well then....seems we will have to face them in their dangerous Zoids. My mistake this time is that I didn't raise the party's level enough but I will make sure that their level is high enough for the upcoming boss fights after this. Rosso's Red Horn isn't that dangerous but I was more afraid of Viola's Redler. Not only her Redler is fast like Raynos but her close range attack deals vicious damage and leave one pilot's Zoid with very low health if she landed critical hit. The worst part of Viola's Redler is the accuracy that each pilots have against her Zoid. Prince Atory, Regina and Jack have the worst accuracies against flying type Zoids (Or several Zoids like Hel Katto and small sized Zoids) when using ranged weapon (At least I chose Raynos to prevent the prince from having his Zoid destroyed easily in the beginning).
After the fight, Rosso finally gave him the answer to look for a red Redler much to Viola's shock toward Rosso for giving them answer. Rosso told them that the red Redler last seen in the west from the cave. The party left and Rosso said to himself that they won't find her anytime soon with Viola can only speak few words and stayed silent.
I hope you like it. Enjoy :-)
