Super Robot Wars A Portable English Patched Real Route Chapter 4 - To Go "Like A Man"!
Super Robot Wars A (スーパーロボット大戦A, Sūpā Robotto Taisen Ē) is a video game for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, part of Banpresto's Super Robot Wars franchise and the first to appear on the Game Boy Advance handheld; the letter "A" in the title stands for "Advance". It was ported onto mobile phones as part of the Super Robot Wars collection in 2006. An enhanced remake of Super Robot Wars A was released for the PlayStation Portable on June 19, 2008 as Super Robot Wars A Portable.
The story of Super Robot Wars A revolves around an organization called the Shadow-Mirror, which exists in a parallel world where events happened in a different way than the original game world, thus making the state of the worlds different, though a bit similar at times. Its leader, Vindel Mauser, desires a world of eternal war to make humanity improve more through war. His plan is to send his agents towards another dimension, spy on the defense forces of the world in order to make adjustments on the attack, and eventually conquer it.
The player is given a choice as one of the two possible volunteers of the dimensional jump to the parallel world from the Shadow-Mirror universe and will later discover through their own way whether the Shadow-Mirror is right or wrong.
The original robots debuting in Super Robot Wars A are based on the original robots in Super Robot Wars 64. The player's choice of the main robot, regardless whether it is a super- or real-type, will affect the beginning of the game, as well as the choice of robots deployed by the enemy.
This is one of the worst chapter in the game because of Akito's bad AI. At the start of the turn, we will be facing Giganos which is easy but...at the next ally turn, more enemies with Warchimedes, Hidler, and General Darkness as the commanders appear. It was easy to beat them with the help of new units arrival (Mazinger, Daimos, Getter-1, Boss Borot, Diana A, Galva FX, Texas Mack) but what makes this chapter the hardest and the worst is that at the 4th or 5th turn of ally's phase, Akito's AI start to move unpredictably and go into full suicidal attack on any enemy near it or run toward any enemy left (Seriously, Akito...you charged toward any enemy near you without second thought that your Aestivalis won't stand a chance against the enemies at once. Dragging the team down a lot there because it's game over if Akito died, his AI is the reason for the game over and his unit cannot be repaired by any ally unit at all). I had to put my team just for blocking Akito's path from moving toward Hidler, General Darkness, or Warchimedes units (Damn, their units pack a punch to every units in the team. I got game over twice during the recording from Akito's stupid AI getting destroyed by Warchimedes, Hidler, or General Darkness unit's attack).
Note for every Super Robot Wars games: Each character has their own respective soundtrack just like the classic Super Robot Wars series. Each soundtrack's right of the game belong to their respective owner. I have no right for these game soundtracks cause they came from the game itself
