The 2019 H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Moon Concept Aventurine is a 42mm 5N red gold limited edition of 50 pieces. The sensuous Moser Endeavour case has been paired with a hand-crafted dial of aventurine quartz to produce a singular luxury watch with hypnotic charisma.
The H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Moon Concept Aventurine includes a moon phase indicator at six o'clock with a precision of 1,027 years; no interim adjustments are necessary while the watch is running. Red gold leaf hands for hours and minutes are combined with a counterweighted seconds hand that can be set precisely thanks to a hacking seconds function. H. Moser & Cie of Schaffhausen, Switzerland takes pride in in noting that all Endeavour Perpetual Moon models far exceed the 60 percent threshold that permits legal branding of a watch as "Swiss Made."
Each Moser Endeavour Perpetual Moon includes a Moser manufacture caliber HMC 801 manual wind movement with twin mainspring barrels and a power reserve of 7 days. The balance, which oscillates at 18,000 vibrations per hour, features a freesprung architecture and a full balance bridge for durability. The overcoil hairspring is composed of Moser's proprietary antimagnetic Straumann alloy, and a 14-karat gold escapement ensures minimal friction.
Moser decorates the caliber HMC 801 with double-created cotes de Geneve, black polished screw heads, engine turning, satin-finished wheels, and chamfered bridges.
The 28-jewel Moser caliber also includes a caseback power reserve indicator and platform escapement that can be removed and replaced as a unit in order to speed service. All small parts on the balance and escapement structures are produced by Moser's Schaffhausen subsidiary, Precision Engineering.
