3 tips to QUICKLY RANK UP from Bronze to Silver and BEYOND in Street Fighter 5 (Re-upload from 2021)
39If you've found that you've been unable to rank up in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition for some time now, we've got you covered. There are a lot of people stuck in Bronze and Silver and so we wanted to come up with helpful tips for them, but quickly realized that these simple tips are just as helpful (if not more so) at Diamond, Master, and even Grand Master ranks.
I found that I, as a Grand Master player, needed very much to go back and further tighten up three routine parts of my gameplay that, without regular practice, can very quickly become sloppy and cost you rounds.
This all begins with something you don't hear all that often: put neutral on the shelf for a moment. That's not at all to say that neutral isn't a key, foundational part of Street Fighter gameplay, but strong poking, grounded maneuvering, and whiff punishing are largely pathways to get to big damage and advantageous positions.
With that in mind, what good are pathways if you can't take advantage once you get where you're going? It's like having perfect dribbling and footwork skills in basketball without being able to actually make the open shot, lay up, or slam dunk you earn for yourself.
