In this video I talk about the hardware I'm going to use to attach the top ring to the body. I also show the utility arms and the 2 piece large data port that I just finished painting today. I'm pretty sure that I've now got all of the parts painted that are in some way involved with getting R2 on his feet!
I do want to wait a few weeks for the paint on the utility arms to cure before I install them. That should reduce the amount of paint damage that may come about during the process of getting the arms in place.
