11It's time to start working on the electronics! I still haven't received my Astrocoms board from printeddroid.com, so I have purchased the parts I need to proceed without it.
The programming of the Arduino Mega 2560 went well, only a few issues that I was able to sort out without much trouble. Below are the links to the pages/videos mentioned. Note that you may need to create an account on the atromech.net forums to access the pages but if you're building a droid, or even thinking about it, you should make an account for the wealth of knowledge and help available there.
Update 2/14/2023: The order I placed with Printed Droid Shop has finally arrived. I posted an update in Part 89 showing the Astrocomms ultra PCB with sound that took almost exactly 5 months to arrive.
