4G signal Booster / Amplifier Experiment Part 2
In the early test of the #experiment #HowTo boost 4G LTE 2600 Mhz (2.6 Ghz) RF frequency signals for #HuaWei #Wifi modem. This experiment using #DIY #homeMade antenna cut from soft drink can power by 20 Mhz active #crystal oscillator #electronic component to power the #antenna.
Normal signal with the #signal #booster usually around 1 to 2 bars with the #internet speed ranging from 4 Mbps and below which is most of the time very slow. Using the crystal oscillator it able to amplify the 4G LTE signal up to 4 bar maximum with the internet speed fluctuate within 9 Mbps to 15 Mbps which is good enough to run smooth internet surfing and #YouTube #Videos.
Note: The position and direction of the modem is very important when the 4G signal is extremely weak - which means it is very sensitive movement and placement. A slight angle or position displacement could affect the signal reception significantly. Remember that the #Cell #phone tower does not transmit a constant microwave signal strength all the time - it actually fluctuates but with the help of the 4G booster / amplifier it keeps the internet connection above average as oppose to not using it at all.
Network tested: #DiGi 4G LTE 2600 Mhz (2.6 Ghz)
