In this #video #review the input voltage is as low as 220 mV to lights up an LED light. The circuit should perform better if the circuit is done on proper soldered electronic board because of too much resitance in between the connection. Pretty much like #joule #thief but with lower input voltage.
I am unable to achieve the minum input voltage 20 mV as claimed by linear technology perhaps due to the absent of 1:100 winding ratio transformer. However 220 mV is good enough and using this circuit we can expand get energy harvesting ideas as follows
