These 80 minutes of classic RPG gaming were initially recorded many months ago as part of a planned playthrough which, for various reasons, never got made. I saved the video files on one of my external drives, though, and instead of letting all that editing work be a complete waste of time I've now decided to upload all of it at once. Take that, Youtube servers...

As for the game itself, Strahd's Possession is a fairly well-regarded D&D-based first person dungeon crawler with realtime combat, and is one of two RPGs from developer Dreamforge which utilize the rather dreary, gothic-inspired Ravenloft campaign setting. Apart from SP and the other Ravenloft game Stone Prophet, Dreamforge Intertainment (yes, that's the correct spelling) also made other noteworthy RPGs such as Menzoberranzan, Dungeon Hack and Anvil of Dawn (the latter was one of the last Western dungeon crawlers released by a major publisher). All of these games feature similar, Eye of the Beholder-esque gameplay and seem able to provide many hours of exploration, combat and puzzle solving. I certainly had fun checking SP out and should definitely return to it some day. Speaking of which, I really should have kept those save files as well...
