A Command Block Project Diorama and Entity Teleportation - Talon's Oasis - Ep 135
16After all the feedback from the poll, we're making a current project diorama to show new players what big projects are in the works. We'll also be testing out some Pokemobs movement to replace the leashes that are used currently.
Extra Stuff:
- When I was editing the Hologram-Shulker incident, I couldn't stop laughing at my own misfortune. Not quite sure why, but I found it hysterical. 🤣 Always good to be able to laugh at yourself, I suppose.
- Believe it or not the 5x5 predicate had nearly 1,000 lines in it! I did not anticipate the sheer tedium of making that. But now that it's made I can reuse it and cut and paste it into other datapacks, so worth it, I guess.
- So apparently the dog border thing only checks the border of the 5x1x5, not the entire volume (and it only checks for one valid spot on the border, which makes no sense). But I did some testing and it definitely creates some invalid teleport locations if you ignore the 3x1x3 contained within (that's how the spider died). So I'm not sure how the game handles that, but I just went with the whole volume check.
Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
