Endermen On Strike (/attribute problems) - Talon's Oasis - Ep 136
17The endermen broke the farm. Well, I broke the farm with the scale attribute. So we'll be looking into how to change Pokemobs to prevent it from breaking endermen farms. We'll also do some exposed coral building in the end because variety. And if all goes well with the farm, I'll finally be able to fill my enchantment shulker box back up after deleting it with the Hologram pickaxe.
Extra Stuff:
- Another side effect of the randomized endermen sizes caused the enderman fly try from Ep 60 (https://youtu.be/coFLioF3HZ0) to break. Any enderman that was bigger than normal would get stuck right outside it and just stand there, never getting teleported.
- After the allay was freed from the stronghold, it proceeded to get stuck in the underwater portion of the base and started making hurt sounds. Apparently, it doesn't take damage from drowning though, so it just sat there underwater blinking red. I think it's accident-prone. 😅
- For the argument in favor of scaling endermen randomly, players would probably see the modified size of the enderman before it teleports and could adjust accordingly. Then the endermite check would cover farms, and the AngryAt check would prevent size change while chasing a player.
- Another option for scaling endermen could be limiting them so the can never fit under two blocks even at minimum size, but then there would be no super small endermen, which is one of the interesting parts of the whole size changing thing.
Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
