A New Open World Fallout Adventure that is Free?! – Fallout London Mod –
6Fallout London is a free mod for the Fallout 4 Game of the year edition.
It’s more Bethesda style Fallout, in London: ok.
New city, new maps, new quests, new monsters: new stuff for those ready for more Fallout 4.
It’s an RPG:
You can customize your character right at the very start, along with character visuals; nice.
More impact-fully, you get 21 attribute points to spend at the start: you can go as low as 1, up to 10; very nice!
Strength: Melee damage and carry weight
Endurance: hp, and drain from sprinting
Int: exp gains
Charisma: persuasion and prices
Perception: accuracy in vats; environmental awareness
Agility: AP in vats and sneaking
Luck: crit rate
There are many different character options here, as the special stats above really matter, letting you create the kind of character you want to play; always good in a RPG.
You can also choose to pick up to 2 traits if you like, (quirks like Fallout 2 pretty much), which offer a bonus, but a downside; fun for helping to define a character with strong strengths and weaknesses, and for role-playing a character.
Think Acrobat: which grants a +10% movement speed, but -50lb in carried loot!
Heavyhanded: 20% more melee damage, but power attacks do nothing.
Or Sleepwalker, where you often wakeup in strange places when you sleep; sounds fun!
Just like Fallout 4, Controller Support is present, as is good old Mouse and keyboard, which felt much better to me, and thus, is what I used in the above video.
Note: Fallout 4 London requires Fallout 4 and all of its DLCs or the Game of the year edition on GOG or Steam.
