Orebound is an Indie, Open World, Exploration focused base builder Steampunk Dwarf game with Voxels and full Terrain Destruction! Fun!
Orebound is all about the mining, and crafting!
Almost like another game which you may have heard of: Minecraft!

A Minecraft like?
Yes!
Orebound is like Minecraft, only prettier, with dwarfs.
Pretty dwarfs?!
Maybe!

Like Minecraft, the world of Orebound is random, made with procedural generation, adding excitement to finding ore nodes and caves to explore.
Also like Minecraft, there is full terrain destruction: meaning you can cut down, or dig through, most things in the game, assuming your pickaxe is tough enough!
Make tunnels through the mountain, hunting for coal, iron ore, and gems.
Build your base at the summit of the mountain if you wish, using your shovel to level out the terrain, or dig deep, and live under the mountain like a proper dwarf!

A Taste of Deep Rock Galactic + Steampunk Satisfactory?
It appears that way at first I must say.
Digging through the mountain, gradually uncovering coal and ore nodes as I tunnel my way towards dwarven paradise, I get a bit of Deep Rock Galactic vibes, but the crazy gunplay and bug invasions are not present, nor is the rush at the end to extract.

As for a Steampunk Satisfactory feel after playing: no
There is the above ground first person exploration aspect yes, but you don’t have the mobility, and Satisfactory lacks even the ability to dig: what kind of self respecting dwarf game wouldn’t let you dig down? No z-lvls in a dwarf game would be gross.
Thankfully Orebound understands what makes the dwarven digger heart rumble, digging for treasure!
And dig here ye shall!
Also, Online Co-op multiplayer is planned later on; nice if that’s something you’re interested in.

Note: This is an early demo look at Orebound so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, Orebound is a fun Indie, Open World, Exploration focused base builder Steampunk Dwarf game with Voxels and full Terrain Destruction!
Orebound is all about the mining, and crafting, and is easily well worth a wishlist and a watch.
