Mount and Blade Style Combat + The Mighty Boot!
Are you ready?!
Rocking a Minecraft like look, use your mighty boot to boot enemies around!
Show em who’s da boss!
Kick em into spikes, into the fire, down the stairs, or right off the edge: be the hero who never skips leg day!
There’s also sneaking and magic, if you’re into that.

Mount and Blade like + The Mighty Boot!
The combat is very influenced by Mount and Blade, where your last mouse movement made either up, down, left or right determines which of the 4 attacks you will make: an overhead chop, a left or right slash, or a backwards stab, with the chambered attack displayed on the UI via a Mount and Blade like Up / Down / Left / Right system; it works very well.
Blocking is currently non-directional; simply hold the block while facing the foes to absorb the hit absent stamina cost, though a well timed kick will greatly damage your stamina, and perhaps even disarm you, so there is some cost to turtle-ing up.

As mentioned above, the kick is very powerful: If you kick while they are blocking, they lose all their stamina, and their weapon; wow!
That is when you pound em down!
You can also knock enemies down when you jump on them, kick em down stairs, or kick em against a wall; very nice!
Ground and pound!
If you mange to kick them down stairs, they fall down, and take even more damage as you pound em while their down!
Brutal!

Magic Power!
There are many powerful and useful spells in The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot, he can be a magic-mans as well as a kick-ie mans!
There is lightning magic, which deals little hp damage, but huge stamina damage, and disarms, and knocks a whole group down; incredible for group crowd control!
There is a fun wind blasting spell that sends foes flying into a solid object, and does damage to the target as you push them into the rock.
Fireball lights foes on fire, as you might expect, letting the bold wizard-mans literally roast knights in the armor!
Show them the danger of bringing cold steel to a hot magic-mans!

There is an illusion spell that can confuse enemies, turning them against each other, or even turn you completely invisible for a short time: note it does NOT break when you attack!
Very powerful!
There is also Infuse Weapon, which lets you load your magic into a weapon, and unleash your power when you strike foes: be the blade mage / muscle mage of your dreams!

Controller Support is present, as is good old Mouse and Keyboard.
As this an FPS, I found Mouse and Keyboard play far more responsive and accurate, so that is mainly what I used in the above video.

Note: This is an early look at The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot is a fun Indie, First Person, Hack and Slash, planned Action RPG offering all the mighty boot kicking action of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic!
Due to all the above awesome-ness, The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot is easily well worth a wishlist and a watch.
