Abyssal Reimu (Labyrinth of Touhou 2 Plus Disk)
0Anyone looking for a guide won't find this particularly helpful. For context, this was the point I realized I *had* to use the Infinite Corridor, but I didn't really undestand how it worked. Like, I assumed you had to beat all 10 floors in 1 run or start from the beginning. Basically, I assumed it worked like most roguelike games. It made sense to me at the time: I was horribly over-leveled for this fight so I assumed it was more about resource management than actual difficulty.
It took a while for me to realize you don't do the Infinite Corridor like this. You can actually repeat floors for free loot. You can also reach the Xth floor / Boss Floor and retry over and over. So again, if you were looking for a "similarly leveled" type of attempt, you're going to be disappointed. I even forgot about recording my stats. My thinking was "I'm too over-leveled anyway, besides the Corridor is probably just old, reused bosses". Imagine my surprise when I hit 30F and there was a NEW boss.
Anyway, here's a video of me beating up Reimu while massively over-leveled. AFAIK Reimu's gimmick is that she gains a permanent buff after you hit a certain HP threshold. It's all there on the Wiki. I won't discuss this too much in-depth. I'll discuss this better with the "real"/original Shadow Reimu and Marisa fight.
