This might be my least favorite fight of Plus Disk so far

In Laquetti's main gimmick is using Karmic Retribution whenever it senses ailments or debuffs on itself. Karmic Retribution is a hard hitting, multi-targeting DRK-affinity spell that also reverses all ailments and debuffs on your own party and you generally want to avoid activating it (this means that if Reisen, Yukari or Rinnosuke are in your party, you'll want to reset their skills so that you don't auto debuff any of its stats with their passives).

With that said, if you decide not to make use of ailments or debuffs, what you get is an extremely tedious and extremely random boss fight. It's a tedious fight because it's tough to do decent damage against Laquetti if you forsake debuffs and ailments entirely. And it's very random because Laquetti has no consistency when it comes to its attacks. Here's a good example: I changed Momiji into an Oracle because Laquetti kept spamming it's DEF and MND buffing move in my practice runs. But in my winning run it never buffed itself once.

Laquetti's front row HP and MP drain moves are other major nuisances that, as seen in the video, can be used as early as Laquetti's first turn but may also go unused for the whole battle if you're lucky (though in my experience, it always happened at least once). The only consistent thing about this fight is Laquetti's MYS-affinity attacks. Ignoring Karmic Retribution, Half-Moon Slash and the drain moves, pretty much everything can be made less dangerous with copious amounts of MYS resistance.

You'll want to bring attackers with DEF-targeting attacks of WND and CLD element that also don't inflict debuffs or ailments. While you can use MND-targeting characters too, Laquetti has far less DEF than MND. As a reference, here's a list of characters with DEF-targeting, WND and CLD attacks without debuffs or ailments: Momiji, Aya, Komachi, Kogasa, Cirno (if you stick with her PAR attack), Mystia (if you stick with her ST attack), Suika, Sakuya, technically Futo and technically Byakuren (idk if ATK-build Byakuren is worth it though). If you don't use any of these characters, the good news is that the Swordmaster Subclass lets you "create" a DEF-targeting, CLD attacker.

Characters who target WND and CLD but not DEF are Kanako, Yukari, Yuuka, Patchouli, Nazrin, Kokoro (if you stick with her Dual Element spell), Mamizou (if you stick with her CLD spell) and technically Tokiko (though MAG isn't her main attacking stat).

Avoid characters like Nitori, Kasen, Iku, Eirin, Mokou and Suwako (MAG-build Suwako at least) if you don't want to proc Karmic Retribution. Technically, you can probably still bring Nitori, Kasen and Mokou, so long as you buff them and save them near the end of the fight (when you're sure they'll kill). I think Iku's defense piercing also makes her viable too. I don't think it's worth using Eirin or MAG-build Suwako though.

The only other thing worth mentioning is that this is my first post-Greater Awakening boss. Yes, in the grind to actually reach challenge level for this fight, I ended up finally exploring the Infinite Corridor. So far I've unlocked two Jewels and used them on the Kanako and Suwako. While Kanako couldn't show off her new ability (not without it activating Karmic Retribution at least), Suwako's Froggy Hibernation was much appreciated in this fight (Hibernation is a damage-increasing counter that goes up the longer Suwako remains in the backrow).
