Mamizou's Shadow still has the same defense and element shifting gimmicks. The only thing preventing you from using the exact same strategies (at first) is Akyuu. She has her two unique spellcards (Protective Art, which nullifies one attack, and Defensive Art, which nullifies any ailments / debuffs once), a pesky Mokou-style regen and the following generic attacks: Magic Drain, Refresh and Art of the Battlemage (the Enchanter sub-class skill that buffs ATK and MAG). If that sounds like much, don't worry; Akyuu is cripplingly weak to PAR and PHYS attacks. While my Moriya-specific team required a specific setup to remove Akyuu, I'm fairly certain that Turn 1 Shenanigans with Nitori or Yuugi can end Akyuu even faster. This really is just the Mamizou fight but with extra steps.

If you're wondering "why not do the fight by killing Mamizou first", the answer is that it's not really feasible thanks to Akyuu's 100% random AI. Consistency is the real issue, though Akyuu can also be really, really mean when she wants to. Related video: https://youtu.be/xM1q8u7mKfQ

I suppose it is possible to just keep Akyuu paralyzed for the entire fight, but Mamizou has so much HP that I'm not sure all the micromanaging would be worth the effort. Besides, the Wiki doesn't mention Akyuu having a berserk phase. Seems like the intended way through this fight is Akyuu first, Mamizou second.
