ADG Episode 38 - Sango Fighter

Yeah I know, I can't pronounce Chinese words to save my life. ^_^;
As far as Steet Fighter II clones go, this is actually one of the better ones, possibly because it doesn't really take many risks or do anything too unique. Also, the request to cover this game came straight from Brandon Cobb of Super Fighter Team himself, so I wasn't about to turn him down! ;)

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Here's a quick link for those of you who want to get a copy of Sango Fighter: http://www.sangofighter.com
* Brandon Cobb of Super Fighter Team, the current rights holder to the Sango Fighter games, wrote up a very interesting story in 2018 detailing his history with the series and how he essentially revived them from obscurity! For those of you curious, follow this link: http://www.diskman.com/presents/supersango
* Interesting note about the joystick support: When you activate one of the joysticks in the options menu, the game immediately reads its centre position and considers anything in and around that position to be centred, and increases/decreases to be pushing that direction. Since the game doesn't need to know exactly how far the position goes in each direction, it makes it one of the few DOS games that technically doesn't require joystick calibration!
* Brandon also filled me in on a couple extra things back when this video first went up. Firstly, the Adlib sound doesn't work in DOSBox due to an Adlib feature presently unsupported in DOSBox, thus future versions of DOSBox may utilize Sango Fighter's Adlib support just fine, though considering Sound Blaster support is in there too, in a way, it almost doesn't matter. :P
* I was also told that while I didn't get the name pronunciations perfect, they should technically be said the same way between the original and updated versions and that the romanization of the words is simply different. My biggest gripe here used to be with Tsau and Cao, which were supposedly pronounced the exact same and for the longest time I couldn't figure out how. I get it now though. :B
