Really complex but rewarding, innovative and deep 3D dungeon crawler. Explore multi-floored dungeons (up to 256 floors!) on your quest to kill the minotaur and reclaim the titular treasure to beat the game-- but it doesn't have to end there! You can leave the treasure and just continue exploring-- you can find better weapons, items and armor, kill tougher enemies for more HP/XP, increase your score (shown on the map or upon completion of the game), etc. There are SO many items and weapons to find, with some having awesome effects like the potions that can let you go through walls! If you're low on energy there are sacks of food you can collect that will allow you to gain back some HP, or you can choose to REST (button 8) to restore HP as well. Note that the perimeter of each floor is free of enemies so you'll need to enter doors to find monsters-- and they include giants, giant ants, dwarves, scorpions, ghouls, dragons, wraiths, gators, snakes, and the minotaur-- the last of which will still be around on lower floors if you don't collect the treasure he's guarding. To descend floors you must find the ladder going down and press 9. There is SO much to do in this game I haven't remotely scratched the surface for you! You could write a novel covering all the finer points of this game. Well worth checking out!
