Impressive port of the arcade classic. The screen is admittedly smaller and the extra credit opportunity is missing but it's still a fantastic port, with similar graphics, music and sound effects. Move your ladybug through a maze eating dots (small Xes) while avoiding big bugs trying to snack on you. Clear the maze to beat the level, but there's plenty more to it than that.. You can earn an extra life by spelling the word EXTRA with letters that only count if you collect them when they're yellow. Similarly, you can collect hearts to increase the "dot value" but only if they're blue (fortunately they are usually blue). You can bump up the value of the dots more times to a maximum of 5X normal value (which would be 50 points a dot). Enemies kill with one touch and you can't defend yourself, but you can shake them with 2 different methods.. one, you can push many walls in the maze to rotate them and maybe push a door shut in the face of your pursuer, and two, you can munch on a bonus veggie appearing in the enemy pen after the last one emerges. Actually; there's a third method-- goad the enemy into running into a skull. This kills it (or a clumsy ladybug) and returns it to the pen. Fun, faithful port of a true classic.
