After the Jump - Sturgeon's Gameplay
After the Jump - Sturgeon's Gameplay
After the Jump is a free indie platformer game for Windows PC, released in 2015 for Mini Ludum Dare 63. This video contains some blind gameplay from After the Jump! There's not much complexity to the gameplay, but the game also doesn't give much direction. It seemed incomplete to me, as it was made under the strict time limits imposed by miniLD, but I have been assured by nuuup in the comments that it is complete! I also found that the overuse of image effects makes it a bit of an eyesore. It's also a 3D platformer, as it is made in the Unity3D game engine, which is notable because 3D platformers are not very common these days. The controls in After the Jump are surprisingly good.

What is Sturgeon's Gameplay?
Sturgeon's Gameplay is a series where I (ferrouspilot) go to a totally non-curated video game digital distribution platform, where anyone can upload their game with no barrier to entry, and play the newest game that has been released. Regardless of what it is. Regardless of who made it. Regardless of how bad it seems. Why do this? To evaluate Sturgeon's Law, which states that "90% of everything is crap" with respect to video games.
