Let's Play Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Co-op [12] - Wolves

We're back with some more co-op gameplay from Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition! This time around we try not to screw up the trap house, and then go and kill stuff. Combat. Now there's some gameplay I can understand; not like all this sneaking and trap disarming nonsense.

If there's one form of gameplay common to crpgs which I'm bad it handling, it's puzzles. But if there are two kinds of gameplay challenges I'm bad at handling in crpgs, they're puzzles and traps. In Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, the puzzles are not so bad, since they have multiple solutions. The problem is the traps are real bad, and they're combined with the puzzles to create some kind of gameplay abomination designed specifically to end my life. This game has it out for me, I'm telling you. Well, maybe that's just the schizophrenia speaking, and the folks at Larain did not in fact have me in mind when they were designing the levels in Divinity: Original Sin.

But anyway we're still exploring area around Cyseal, or as a scientist would say, the peri-Cyseal area. Co-op really is a comedy of errors, and I'm using that term without knowing what it means, but co-op gameplay, particularly in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition (and in non-enahced edition, I guess) really is a comedy of errors. I walk into a trap, ingeniousclown has to heal me. He walks into an encounter of extremely fast murder wolves and I have to use Wolgraff to save our lives. I click on the wrong scroll, and fall ass-backwards into a solution that somehow works. I don't want to spoil too much of that encounter, but suffice it to say it led to some interesting gameplay.
