Let's Play Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Co-op [9] - Elemental
One of the best parts of Divinity: Original Sin's gameplay was the elemental interaction. We play some co-op Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition and find out it's still one of the best parts! Seriously, though, fire elementals and elemental traps afoot in this episode of the LP

Before I start summarizing what happens, I'm sorry about the frame dropping during parts of this episode. The game defaults me to ultra, but my screen capture software can't quite keep up with the nonsense on screen because my CPU sucks.
But anyway, we intrepid heroes continue to explore the area east of Cyseal in jully cooperation in this part of our Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition coop playthrough. If you're getting a little tired of all the rain and undead and you're starting to feel like the gameplay's getting a bit samey, I have some good new for you. This episode we still have some combat, and it still has some undead, but just a few. It also has fire elementals and a burning battlefield whereupon the gameplay priorities shift a little compared to what they are in the rain.
Also, since Divinity: Original Sin, and by extension Enhanced Edition, makes use of the delicious elemental interactions both in combat gameplay and out of combat gameplay, we get to do a puzzle in a pair of undergound cavern areas. This particular dungeon is designed to that players have to separate their party. It's a unique challenge for people playing in co-op because, well, you don't control both groups. In our case, it's not as bad because we have a direct voice connection. I can imagine this particular type of gameplay being very challenging when playing with an online random who you can only communicate with via chat.
