This episode of Let's Play Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition takes us all around Cyseal and the surrounding area. Due to the fact that we focused on combat and kind of neglected some of the more talky gameplay in Cyseal proper because the dialogues are kind of long and boring whereas the combat and puzzle gameplay is amazing , we ended up being a little under leveled compared to the enemies we were facing. And although I love Divinity: Original Sin and Enhanced Edition, I do feel like level is maybe a little to important relative to your stats. In an ideal world leveling just gives you stat points and everything is determined by the stats themselves. Then again, I'm not an expert game designer, and I'm sure the folks at Larian know what they're doing. After all, I reiterate that Divinity: Original Sin is a fantastic game with fantastic gameplay. Also great to play in co-op.

But where was I? So we're a bit under leveled as we found out from dying against a particular scary robot enemy. You'll see him later in the playthrough after we stop being a bunch of scaredy cats. So this episode we first try exploring the beach south of Cyseal. Orcs are afoot, but they're also level 7 and we're level five so we think better of it and head east. There we find an area that is brimming with traps, which gives rise to some interesting situations with respect to the gameplay in Divinity: Original Sin because of the elemental interactions involved.

There are also some more skeletors to fight, but we handle them no problem despite the level gap. Our tactics are too strong! Finally, there is a trap house area which is terrifying and we end up triggering a bunch of nonsense before making a wily escape! All this and more in yet another part of our adventurous Divinity: Original Sin coop playthrough!
