Let's Play Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Co-op [10] - Zombie Boars
That's right folks, this episode of our co-op Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition playthrough features not just the regular gameplay, but also a new enemy type called zombie boars! Actually, we may have seen this enemy in an earlier part, but it's here too. There are also headless zombies, which are like regular zombies but are blind, and move super fast.

So where was I? Right, so the headless zombies are a cool enemy type in Divinity: Original Sin because they have such an impact on the gameplay. It's not like they're particularly harder to fight then regular zombies-- they may even be easier-- but the blindness combined with the stats makes them a risky enemy. Even though the headless zombies may do less or the same damage in the long term, in the short term they can screw you over if they manage to hit your party members. Playing around the blindness requires a slight shift in gameplay style. I wont say it revolutionizes the gameplay of Divinity: Original Sin because even Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition has the same basic gameplay so I doubt one enemy will change everything, but I will say the headless zombies give you one more thing to think about and make the combat a little more tactical.
As for what actually happens in this part of our fantastic coop playthrough of Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, we venture out the North Gate of Cyseal to fight against more undead. And that's about it. Really not much gameplay variation outside of what variation there is within combat itself in this video. Well, we do find a chest on fire and then use the sweet rain spell in conjuction with Divinity: Original Sin's environmental interactions to put it out. Then it runs away from us shouting taunts in a child's voice. Then when we back it into a corner and open it, it spawns an Exploskeleton in our faces. Well, in Wolgraff's face anyway. At least Wolgraff has the sense to back away as combat begins. A cool bit of scripted gameplay, I guess. If I'm complaining about too much combat, which I'm not because the combat in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is fantastic, then it seems I have no reason to do so as there is some variation in the gameplay at least.
