4Akiba's Trip 2 (アキバズトリップ2, Akibazu Torippu 2, "Akiba's Trip 2") is an action-adventure game developed and published by Acquire for the PlayStation 3, it was later ported to multiple systems under the title Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed. The title was localized and published by XSEED, and Marvelous in North America. It originally released in Japan on November 7, 2013, and in North America on August 12, 2014.
Akiba's Trip 2 takes place in Akihabara, a famous district in Tokyo known for its electronics and otaku culture. The game features an open-world environment where players assume the role of a protagonist fighting against vampire-like creatures called "Synthisters." The gameplay revolves around stripping the clothes off these creatures to expose them to sunlight, which is their weakness.
The development of Akiba's Trip 2 involved Acquire, a Japanese video game development company known for its work on titles like Tenchu: Stealth Assassins and Way of the Samurai. Acquire also served as the publisher for the game.
The soundtrack was composed by Toshiko Tasaki who is best known for her work on Persona 2.
