Dead Space Part 2: Clearing the Way
0So, after crash landing inside the Ishimura and then being introduced to the new friendly members of the ship, we are tossed even further into obscurity. I’m honestly not even sure how Isaac can remain so calm in this situation or how he keeps ahold of his sanity but major props to him. We got introduced to the main enemy type within the game, those being the Necromorphs, which are these twisted, humanoid creatures with large claw-like arms (it hard to explain them because of how morbid and obscure they are). Alongside their introduction, we get taught how to combat them rather easily; The game does repeat itself a little too much in this early part of the game trying to tell us how to kill them (I think they mention it like three or four times in about five minutes which seems a tad bit excessive). Armed with a Plasma Cutter (I think I keep calling it a Fusion Cutter for the first couple of videos like the noob that I am; either way, I think it is supposed to be some sort of mining tool), we now have a way to combat against these twisted abominations which means all that is left is finding Nicole and getting the hell off this ship.
