Alyxization | Freeman's Fight | No Failure Run
4Took me a bit before doing another run, yes, but things kinda got in the way. Had to modify the model pack I'm using further to match with the new updated Alyxization. Did not bother with the upgrade submodels 'cause the thing's not quite set up to have everything yet, did not wanna have visual dissonance with the rest of the weapons. Everything else should be mostly the same, however.
Speaking of mostly the same, another one of those mapsets that are technically made by Randmap. It was still entertaining enough to be modmixed, though you won't see much praise from me. Even if these were made by someone, my comments would mostly be regarding how much the maps were copy/pasted. Mostly grunts, with a few peppering of Xenians (even when we finally get to Xen).
Haven't even mentioned the fact that it's completely devoid of ambience or music. The only sounds you'll hear in the actual thing are just enemy sounds and your own steps/guns, otherwise it's completely silent (even in the Xen maps). Had to fill in the blanks with my playlist again, of course. The Omori mod Reverie recently released a new chapter, and the tracks in those were really catchy.
