1The amount of time taken to practice has allowed me to cobble up a bit of a reskin set for the whole thing. Nothing too fancy, especially since Bruss is the one behind the monster models, but they're mainly so the weapons would feel less like directly taken from Day of Defeat and possess more of their own identity, limited as they may be. A bit similar to my SiC: Relit pack, for those who know.
Anyways, the bonus chapter for THRebuild's first episode! The modmix did not go particularly smoothly, as there's one part a quarterway through where for reasons I still don't quite understand, the game would consistently crash. Found out through experimenting that it was caused by zgrunts clashing a bit with the scripted sequence. A little wirejam did the trick, and the rest went by okay.
You'll note that there's a few buttons or ways that I didn't take in the run, and there's a good reason for that. Lots of weirdly mean instakill traps dotted around the maps. The last "boss" also lacked feedback on what the player's supposed to do, making me glad that I did a practice run first before doing a full NFR. Would've crushed me if I went this far and failed for reasons out of my control.
