TripTrap is a new original puzzle-platformer from the creators of iSlash. TripTrap is only available for iOS for the price of 89 cents, unfortunately there is no Android-version of the game.

In TripTrap you control the hungry little mouse Ched. You play the game with only one Fingertap. There are over 80 levels, where you have to make your way through the kitchen, the living room, a gym and a garage. Ched runs automatically around platforms, with a Fingertapp you can jump from one platform to another. You have to avoid obstacles such as spikes or cats. Your task is to collect three pieces of cheese in each level and to reach the exit - a mousehole. You can finish the level without collecting all pieces of cheese. But you should definitely try to collect as much cheese as possible, because only then you can unlock the other rooms in the game. The perfectionists among you of course want to collect all the pieces of cheese in each level anyway, simply to reach a perfect level rating .

So simple the gameplay is, so challenging are the later levels. In the beginning you just have to jump from plattfform to platform. Later in the game you have to change directions, free cheese out of glas or prove the right timing with an additional sprint button. The later levels are full of cats and the level designs are also more complex, so you won't get the cheese simply by jumping. In addition, the change of direction can be limited per level, so you have you think twice when you push the jump button.

My conclusion:
Trip Trap is a nicely made ​​puzzle title with cute graphics. The strength of the game lies without doubt in the easy accessibility. The gameplay is easy too understand and you only need one finger to jump, the rest is timing and a bit of thinking. All this is nothing revolutionary, but if you like well-crafted puzzle titles TripTrap is a good investion. Further levels have already been announced. -
