Released as part of「PROJECT VELOCITY」, I am proud to present a newly preserved "PS1 Review Build" prototype of Army Men: Lock 'N' Load! This is a post NTSC final PAL localization prototype dated 25th January 2001, 3 days after the NTSC final build and just under a month before the PAL final build.

The main bulk of the game data in this prototype is identical to the final NTSC build, but it does have a few differences in regards to the PAL exclusive changes:
*Almost all of the non English language files are pre final, most of the differences are text formatting changes as the prototype commonly has text extend beyond the borders of the screen rendering it partially unreadable.
*The MEMCARDP.TIM PAL memory card icon file is missing from the game disc, as are the padding files.
*The NTSC Movies menu is not only still intact but has been translated to the other languages, despite having been cut for the final PAL build! The PAL exclusive foreign language Intro FMV's are present and final in this build too, so there was room on the disc for all of the FMV's and the menu was most likely removed due to other reasons.
