After a playthrough of a random Beginner map (see: https://youtu.be/M3qaWTKbwzs ), here's one on Advanced. As an additional difference, the goal this time is to find a specific item rather than a total amount of wealth. This can result in an unusually quick win, as it does here, though it can also lead to an unusually prolonged quest if you search every other location first.

Advanced mode can generate a few things that won't appear in Beginner, such as fast creatures and dark rooms. I think you also tend to start with less energy. Otherwise, the gameplay is the same.

To finish this video out, I also demonstrate how nippers work, and more importantly, what happens if you run out of energy, continuing into a glimpse of the level editor, as randomly generated maps remain in memory after winning or losing and can be opened there.
