Battlefield 2 Clone in Unreal Engine 4 - 9 - Team Colors & Lobby Pt2: More Blueprints
I realized I broke my own rules & we are doing too many things at once (character setup, lobby, networking, classes, teams,) so this is an un-edited video that will be continued where I go back to the basics to the pure functions we need, consider them helper functions almost to complete a shooter game. I attempt to get what we wanted in part 1 finished for the first half hour or so and then realize things are taking so long that I start building functions that we can use over and over for multiple things (kill/death list, leaderboard + rankings, auto team managment etc.) without having to debug when prototyping stuff from a reference project thats finsihed goes arway. The next video will extend on this video to finish some of the most important functions we'll need THEN we can do some cool stuff. Getting closer and closer to the cool stuff though! Some material tricks in this one which we will ujse for teams on the meshes.
