BattleTanx: Global Assault (N64)
64This video was captured using the actual game on an actual Nintendo 64. I included half of the opening story and cut the rest out for pacing of this video. I also removed all story telling in between stages for the same reason. I left the menu selections in so you could hear the awesome music.
The first installment of Battle Tanx was awesome. This installment is awesome on a whole other level with even faster action and even more tanks to shoot. The story telling in Global Assault is all animated and much swifter than the first game which helps keep the pace much better. This game also got a release on the PS1 unlike the first game. How does it stack up? The N64 version is superior by far in everything from music, sound, controls, and overall gameplay. The N64 version has much longer levels and your tank moves much faster. This game is just a blast to play (no pun intended). It's hard for me to elaborate about this game because the video says everything you need to know about this game. It's awesome, nuff said.
This game seems to demand just a little more money than the first title, but you should still be able to get a hold of it for under 10 bucks and it is well worth it.
